Ambulance Victoria and Police were called to Payson Drive, Point Cook earlier today as the result of a dog bite. A person, believed to be the owner, sustained minor injuries as a result.
The incident occurred at approximately 11.30 am this morning in Upper Point Cook and involved two large dogs that were sighted shortly after in the partly fenced car park at the Henley Homes display office, on the corner of Payson Drive and Murphy Street.
Two police vehicles and 4 officers were shortly on the scene and joined two other men standing outside the Henley office. The two men were armed with a broom and a rake and were attempting to ensure the dogs did not wander.

At one stage, one of the dogs crawled under a fence and wandered into Murphy Street but was eventually coerced back behind the fence before being captured.
Three Wyndham Council vans arrived at the stand-off which lasted around 30 minutes in total and both dogs were captured and taken from the scene.
