The Werribee Softball Association has a proud history of producing state and national representatives in the form of both players and officials. It’s softball season, and the Association, along with the community, work hard to keep the game alive for children and adults alike.
Some of the things you will notice when you go to one of the association’s games at Presidents Park are the great family atmosphere, teams encouraging each other, players and spectators having some friendly banter and a laugh, plenty of relaxing places to sit and some great hot chips and other items available at the canteen.
Anyone you speak to at the ground will always tell you what a great family atmosphere it really is and President of the softball association, Trevor Murphy says “If you have a look around the park, the family atmosphere is there all the time and it’s fantastic!”
It’s softball season, and the Association encourages the growth of the sport so why not head down to Gate 3 on McGrath Road this Saturday to catch a game or two.
