A 20-year-old Hoppers Crossing man was threatened with a knife before being pushed from a moving vehicle over a mobile phone sale that went wrong.
Police are investigating following an incident in Tarneit, at approximately 4.30pm on October 7th, 2019.
Investigators have been told the victim, a 20-year-old Hoppers Crossing man, organised a meeting in order to sell his phone.
On arrival three men were present and the group got into a black Nissan sedan before one man produced a knife and threatened him, making demands for his mobile phone.
The man was then pushed from the moving vehicle on Morris Road before the offenders fled.
The victim was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
